Welcome to Small Plot Seeds! I try to find the best quality seeds in the UK, some organic seeds, some are not at the moment, but hopefully will all be not too long! The seeds in the UK are NOT GMO.
I am a pretty casual gardener, I am lucky enough to have my own garden here in North London. Personally, I love growing radishes, peas, beans, courgettes, cucumbers, different types of lettuce, different shoots like sunflowers (very nutty and delicious!) and hopefully look to expand my growing into watermelons, carrots, onions, chillis and much more!
I feel that everyone should be growing some sort of their own food in London, even if it's herbs in the windowsill. The goal hopefully is to develop little communities in neighbourhoods where people aren't using their gardens and want to possibly open them up to community gardens where everyone can work together and share the harvest. I feel like there is a lot of opportunity for this!
Being healthy is a top priority to me, mental, physical, emotional and spiritual. Food plays such an important role in all of those. I don't think there's anything better than getting your hands dirty and watching the magic happen when different types of vegetables appear out of the ground from one small seed!
This has been a wild ride already, thank you for being a part of it, and I really look forward to learning more about growing food and meeting all of the people involved in making it happen!
